Chloe Mae is TWO!

She's TWO!!! I cannot believe it! The past two years have flown by!!! She really enjoyed the whole birthday thing this year. Her Birthday was Black Friday..so mama and daddy went shopping at 3:30 while she slept-- and then did the birthday dance when she got up! She's such a joy to have in our lives! We can't wait to see how she does with the baby!!

Thanksgiving 2009

We hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving! We sure did! We started with a visit with Rob's family, followed by a stop at Ashley and Cary's, and then Mama Chloe's for the rest of the week! It was such a blessing to have such wonderful fellowship with the family! You won't see pictures of the actual feast..which was AMAZING as always-- but here is a snap shot of our week!

After the second day of tree cutting, some of us girls joined the men for clean up- Chloe was in charge of the little sticks..and LOVED every minute of it! She asked the next day to go out and pick up sticks!

She soon made it up the ladder from worker to supervisor- she would pick up a stick, hand it to someone, and then tell them to go throw it in the woods! haha! Smart girl!

Over the Past Week.....

Soo....... I started this blog post on Nov 3..... I know, your suprised! haha! Here are some of our pictures from our visit at Papa Bear and Hunny's house with John, Kimber, Ivy and Gev! Chloe and Ivy have enjoyed playing together this week! Playing kitchen has been a favorite! This was my kitchen as a little girl.

Quotes of the Week

We've had a pretty eventful week at our house..at least in the way of quotes! :)

1. "No Thank You, Train!"-- we have the V-tech alphabet train (which we LOVE). Chloe had been playing with it, getting the letter it would say and putting it on the train, then it asked her for the next one...and this was her response! We also like to build towers with the blocks! She knows them all though!!

2. After hugging and kissing "Baby Olivia" in my belly she said, come here baby "ia", hold you!

3. "Common, lil fella" -- to squirrels, Harley, etc

4. "I hear da drums" at the football game and parade we went to today

5. "DO IT AGAIN!!" Very excitedly after I set up a small domino run and let her push the first one! She LOVES them now! (for those who don't know, this is Chloe's phrase ANYTIME she's enjoyed something and wants to repeat it..but she was VERY excited about the dominos!)

6. "Chloe blow it, mommy blow it too" She has seen me throw up a few dozen times, so she likes to squat down when we are out walking the dog (I always get sick out there) and spit/blow out of her mouth..she thinks its fun..me..not so much!

She has also started singing and rocking her baby dolls. It is SOO precious! I have a video to post soon!

A Great Weekend with Papa Bear and Hunny!

A few weekends ago, Rob was busy with an out of town drill and Chloe, Harley and I went to Papa Bear and Hunny's! Oh what fun we had! Chloe enjoyed sliding, riding the horsey, and playing in the 2 cozy coupes they have! It was such a wonderful fall day to enjoy the outdoors! Later, when we went shoe shopping at Stride-rite, Chloe cried when the girl wanted to measure her foot, but definitely overcame it. She hugged her when we tried on the last pair of shoes! :o) At Chick-fil-A where we stopped for lunch, Chloe kept repeating, "Apple Juice Box please" to the guy at the register until he gave her one! :) And at lunch on Sunday, kept asking for "lemon" for her water! :) It amazes me what all she picks up on!!

One of the Coupes is missing its key, and she just could not drive it without one-- so we improvised with an extra key to Hunny's car!

She would come tell us all bye bye and give hugs and kisses, get in, shut the door, say "See you Soon!", then get back out, say "I need get somefing first" (oh how often I have to run back inside before we go!) and would act like she was going inside! :) I am so thankful we are close enough to run up for the weekend! We are blessed to have our Papa Bear and Hunny!!

Since Our Last Post.......

I know..it's been WAYYYYYY too long since our last post! :o) So here is a snapshot of some of our activities over the past (almost 3) months! My layout is not working well so I'll just give you an overview and then let you see pictures! Chloe and I went to Texas with mom and dad to see John and his family! They had a great time sliding! Chloe asks to play with Ivy just about every day (especially if sliding is involved!). Chloe and I also went to the beach with mom and dad for a few days (they were there a week for an anniversary trip..thanks for letting me be a brat!) We had a blast....Rob's parents came down for a few days-- there is a picture from the Zoo of Chloe with Pops and Nana. Also, we've had spaghetti, photo shoots and everything else! We will have DC pictures up soon! Enjoy!
